In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, Hongslab establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect the personal information of data subjects and to handle any related grievances promptly and smoothly.
1. Collected Personal Information and Collection Purpose
1.1. The personal information collected to identify app users includes the following:
- User device identifiers (e.g., advertising ID, device ID)
- Application usage records
1.2. The purpose of collecting personal information is as follows:
- Providing and optimizing app functionality
- Improving service quality
- Enhancing user convenience
- Participation in events and marketing activities
1.3. Information about the device (device model, carrier information, hardware ID, ADID), basic statistics on service usage, service usage records, app installation information, and browser information may be automatically generated and collected.
2. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
2.1. Personal information is retained and used only until the purpose of its collection is achieved or upon request for deletion by the user.
3. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
3.1. This application does not provide users' personal information to third parties. However, it may be provided exceptionally in cases where there is a legal obligation or user consent.
4. Security Measures
4.1. This application uses appropriate security measures to protect users' personal information, including encryption, access control, and network security.
5. User Rights and How to Exercise Them
5.1. Users have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of their personal information. This process is available through the settings screen within the application.
6. Changes to the Privacy Policy
6.1. This privacy policy may change due to changes in laws or services. If there are any changes, users will be notified through the app's announcements.
6.2. For children under 14, legal representatives have the right to view, modify, delete, suspend processing, and withdraw consent to the collection and use of the child's personal information.
7. Use of Android Advertising ID
- Usage: The Android advertising identifier should only be used for advertising and user analysis. Each time an ID is accessed, it must verify the 'opt-out of interest-based ads' or 'opt-out of ad personalization' setting status.
- Connection with personal identifiable information or other identifiers: The advertising identifier should not be linked to personally identifiable information or permanent device identifiers (e.g., SSAID, MAC address, IMEI) without the user's explicit consent.
- Respecting user choices: When resetting, the new advertising identifier should not be linked to the previous identifier or any data derived from the previous identifier without the user's explicit consent. The user's 'opt-out of interest-based ads' or 'opt-out of ad personalization' settings must also be respected. If the user has opted for these settings, the advertising identifier cannot be used to create a user profile for ad targeting or to target users with personalized ads. Allowed actions include contextual advertising, frequency capping, conversion tracking, reporting, security, and fraud detection.
- Transparency to users: The collection and use of advertising identifiers, as well as efforts to comply with these terms, must be disclosed to users through a legally appropriate privacy notice. For more information about Google's privacy standards, please review the user data policy.
- Compliance with terms: Advertising identifiers must be used only in accordance with these terms, which also apply to all parties with whom the identifier is shared during business processes. From August 1, 2014, all updates and new apps uploaded to Google Play must use the advertising ID for advertising purposes (if available on the device).
